Accountant OS

Everything an accountancy practice does, run from one operating surface: payroll and RTI, compliance across a dozen regulatory regimes, formations, R&D and capital-allowance claims, credit control and company intelligence — assembled from parts ATTOH.tech already runs live, not rebuilt from a blank page.

Waiting list

The assembled surface is not built yet. The parts it assembles from are — see Proof below. Tell us you want it and you are first in; that is what decides what we build next.

Positioning

A partner in a five-to-thirty-seat practice runs the same week on repeat: RTI submissions before the filing deadline, a compliance question from a client that touches three separate regimes, a formation to push through Companies House, a debtor list nobody has chased since the invoice went out, and a company search before taking on new work. Each of those lives in a different tool today, or in nobody's inbox at all. Accountant OS puts them on one surface, keyed to the same client record, so the practice runs the work instead of hunting for it.

What it does

Six departments, one client record

01
Payroll & RTI
Runs payroll and files Real Time Information with HMRC on the practice's cycle, drawing on the payroll engine already live under Switch Payroll — the same submission logic, wrapped into the practice's client list instead of a standalone tool.
02
Regulatory compliance
Tracks a client against the regime that actually applies to them — GDPR, cyber, employment, VAT, IR35, pensions, trademark, insurance, immigration, data protection and R&D among the verticals already live on ATTOH.tech — and flags the deadline before the client asks.
03
Formations
Incorporates a new client company through Companies House, pre-fills the filings a practice does on every formation, and hands back a company number the practice can act on the same day.
04
Claims
Screens every client for R&D tax relief and capital allowances they are eligible for but have not claimed — the two reliefs practices most often leave on the table because nobody has time to run the eligibility check on every file.
05
Credit control
Ranks every client's debtor book by aging fused with free public-data distress signals from Companies House, the Gazette and Creditsafe, routes the critical ones toward invoice finance, and drafts the chase message — a human ticks it before it sends. Live today as the Get Paid credit-control board (see Proof).
06
Company intelligence
Pulls a full company report — filing history, directors, charges, status — before the practice takes on a new client or signs off a reference, instead of a manual Companies House lookup done by hand.

Outcomes

What it stands in for

Each department above is scoped against the role or the recurring task it removes from a partner's week — not a feature list, a headcount and time saving:

The payroll administrator's RTI run
The monthly submission cycle across every client on the books, done without a missed deadline.
The compliance officer chasing deadlines
Twelve regulatory regimes tracked per client instead of one person holding the calendar in their head.
The junior doing company searches
A full company intelligence report pulled before onboarding, not requested and waited on.
The credit controller's Monday chase
Every debtor ranked and the highest-risk ones routed to finance before the aging report is even opened.
The claims nobody has time to check
R&D relief and capital allowances screened on every file, not just the clients who ask.

How it works

Data in
Companies House, HMRC and Gazette feeds pull automatically; the practice adds its own client list and, where it chooses to connect one, its practice-management export.
Agents work the file
Each department above runs as a named agent against the shared client record — payroll, compliance, formations, claims, credit control, intelligence — so nothing is re-keyed between tools.
A human approves
Every regulated or client-facing action — a filing, a chase message, a submission — stops at a human tick before it sends. Nothing files or sends itself.
Evidence is kept
Every score, flag and submission carries its source and a timestamp, so the practice can show its working on any client file, at any point.

Proof

Accountant OS is the assembly, not a new build from zero. The parts it assembles are live today:

Who it's for

UK accountancy practices running SME clients through payroll, tax and compliance — from a sole practitioner covering every discipline to a multi-partner firm where the work is split across desks but the client record is not. If the practice currently keeps payroll, compliance tracking, formations, claims and debtor chasing in separate tools or separate heads, this is built for that gap.

FAQs

Where does client data live, and who owns it?
In ATTOH.tech's own Supabase data layer, not a third-party CRM. The practice's client data stays the practice's; nothing is sold or shared onward, and every automated read of Companies House, Gazette or Creditsafe data uses the same free public-record sources any practice can query by hand.
Does anything file or send without a person checking it first?
No. Every regulated filing, RTI submission and client-facing message is drafted and gated to a human tick. The system ranks, drafts and flags; a person in the practice approves before anything leaves the building.
How does onboarding work?
Join the waiting list below and you're first in when the assembled surface opens. Onboarding brings in the practice's client list, connects the Companies House and HMRC feeds, and turns on the departments the practice actually needs first — most practices start with credit control and compliance tracking, since both are live today.
Does it replace our practice-management software?
No. It sits alongside it. Accountant OS covers the work that currently happens outside practice-management software — credit-control chasing, compliance-deadline tracking, claims screening, company intelligence — and can take a practice-management export as one of its data-in sources rather than requiring a switch.
What's actually live versus waitlist?
The credit-control board, R&D and capital-allowance screening, company formations, instant company reports and the twelve regulatory verticals are live on ATTOH.tech today — see the Proof section above. The single assembled Accountant OS surface that ties them to one client record is what the waiting list is for.
